What would you try first?
While we are spending a lot of time testing the EZER chair with potential users, we also recently attended RehaCare (more about this event in a previous newsletter), where our team members (abled-bodied people) had a wonderful opportunity to try out the standing wheelchair in various activities!
Curious about which sports we explored?
Archery was one of the most exciting! It was incredible to feel the stability and freedom the wheelchair offered. The smooth transitions between standing and sitting allowed us to focus entirely on aiming.
But that wasn’t all—golf was another highlight. The wheelchair’s flexibility made it easy to adjust posture for the perfect swing, increasing control over each shot.
And when it came to table tennis, the flexibility of the wheelchair was crucial. It’s great that the EZER wheelchair allows you to move while standing so you do not miss any shots!
The standing wheelchair has the potential to make these sports more convenient and accessible for people with disabilities. But beyond these activities, what other fun possibilities could it unlock? How about a friendly game of darts? With the standing wheelchair, retrieving the darts from the board becomes much easier, so you can be fully engaged in the game!
Many of us enjoy visiting the market—whether it’s to grab a bite, pick up some fresh food, or catch up with friends. However, for those using traditional wheelchairs, the tall counters that many sellers use can make interacting and reaching items a challenge. With the standing wheelchair, this changes completely! It allows you to communicate with sellers at eye level therefore your market experience becomes not only more convenient but also more engaging and personal.
Finally, thank you very much to everyone who came by and tried out the EZER wheelchair! We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did!
Do you have any other ideas for activities that can be done with our chair? Let us know!
Best wishes,
Gabriel

I'd love to try! I do have a quicky 700-up but that's too big and heavy for inside. I want to be able to get to the top kitchen cabinets and manage my own household again
